MONTHLY MEETINGS: Our regular meetings are on the third Thursday of
every month from September Thru May. (December & May are at alternate locations.)
The meetings are at an established location at the Southside of Milwaukee.
MEET & GREET: Many members arrive at 6:30pm to
meet with other mothers and discuss parenting issues and concerns. This is a good
time to gather new information and develop friendships.
BUSINESS MEETING: Our business portion of the monthly meetings begins at 7:00pm. Here we meet guests,
review prior business and discuss upcoming events. The business portion of the meetings are lead by our
club officers using parliamentarian procedure as outlined by "Roberts Rules of Order Revised".
INFORMATIVE SPEAKERS: We invite speakers on a variety of subjects to
follow our business portion of the meeting (~8:15pm). Speakers range from: teachers, doctors, twins,
lawyers, firefighters, marriage counselors, massage therapists and more. Sometimes the speaker is
replaced with a lighter topic such as a group craft, a club ice breaker, charity fun night or more.
SNACKS: What would a get together be without snacks? Attendees always enjoy refreshments
as they meet other moms.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership in this organization consists of mothers, or
guardians, of multiple birth children. A prospective member is entitled to attend
two meetings before payment of dues is required. Dues are $25.00 per year which
includes a monthly newsletter and the dues paid to the National Mothers of Twins
and the Wisconsin Mothers of Twins.
