OCTOBER SOCIAL: A special evening for the guests of our club and a good time
to get acquainted. This occurs annually at the regular October meeting.
MEMBERS' CHRISTMAS PARTY: An enjoyable evening in December for members to
socialize with one another and share the holiday spirit.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY: A Christmas party for the children of our members.
Games, entertainment, and refreshments highlight this evening; it's a fun time
for all and Santa comes for a visit. Dads are welcome, too.
COUPLES' NIGHT: A much needed evening out for moms and dads of
multiples.
PHILANTHROPIC EVENT: Annually we do one event to raise money for a philanthropic
cause. One of our favorites is "charity fun night" which is held every January/February.
We donate to the Wisconsin Mothers of twins philanthropic cause every other year and
choose our own cause on the opposing year.
CASINO NIGHT: This is our annual club fundraiser and it is open to the public.
It's a club project to make it happen. We bring in a company to host multiple casino
games (about 30 tables) and we gather many donations to give as prizes. The public and
members have a great time. The funds help support our monthly news letter, the cost of
our meeting location and other budgeted items. (March/April)
APPRECIATION NIGHT (PREVIOUSLY GRANDPARENTS' NIGHT): An evening to honor the people
that help you raise your children. It may be dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors...(May)
STATE SPRING FLING: A mini-convention held once a year by a member club
of the Wisconsin state organization. Mothers of twins clubs throughout the state attend.
(April/May)
INSTALLATION DINNER: A relaxing end of year dinner for the members. A
ceremony is done to install new officers for the coming year and "new
members" are recognized too. (June)
RUMMAGE SALE: An annual rummage sale where Members join in one location to
sell children's items. Proceeds belong to the members selling the items. Twins
Club Members are allowed first viewing on the Friday of the event and
the public is allowed all day Saturday. (June/July)
FAMILY PICNIC: An annual summer picnic for our members and their families.
There is plenty of food and games for all, and lots of fun.
NATIONAL CONVENTION: A convention held once a year by a member club of
the national organization for clubs throughout the United States. (July)
STATE CONVENTION: A 2 day convention held once a year by a member club
of the Wisconsin state organization. Mothers from twins throughout the state
attend the event. (2nd weekend in October)
MONTHLY MEETINGS: Our regular meetings are at 7:00pm on the third Thursday of
every month from September Thru May. (December & May are at alternate locations.)
Regular meetings are at an established location at the Southside of Milwaukee.
