Welcome Mothers of Multiples! The next meeting is Thursday, March 18th at 7:00pm at Hickory Park Independent Living (Previously named Greenfield Retirement Center) at 87th & Howard, 3RD Floor. Charity Fun Night... bring sale items and guests. Money raised will go to Hunger Task Force for local food pantries. Bring food donations too. The 10th Annual Milwaukee Mothers of Twins Club CASINO NIGHT is Friday, March 26th at the Clarion Hotel in Milwaukee from 7:30-11:30pm. The public is welcome. Cost is $20.00 in advance. Contact Julie Zdero soccer_4_us@hotmail.com The Milwaukee Mothers of Twins Club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1957 and serves mothers, or guardians, of twins, triplets or other multiple birth children. The club supports mothers from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and all the surrounding communities. We meet at the South side of Milwaukee on the 3rd Thursday of every month from Sept - June with special events in Dec, May and June. The purpose of our organization is to: 1. Assist members by exchanging ideas on the care and raising of twins with the assistance of professional advice and information. 2. Assist members by the exchange or sale of twin clothing and equipment. 3. Provide varied activities for the group. 4. Promote a philanthropic interest. We average 75 members annually and are fortunate to have active members with twins ranging in age from 0 to 50 years. Our variety of members brings a wealth of education and friendship. The Milwaukee Mothers of Twins Club is a member of the "Wisconsin Mothers of Twins" and the "National Mothers of Twins" organizations. We are very active participants in the Wisconsin Mothers of Twins Club and we cherish the friendships we make through out the state. When choosing a twins club to join, be sure to consider the location, meeting dates, people and activities. There are many wonderful twins clubs and the more a mother participates in the club, the more she'll get out of it! Mothers can attend 2 meetings at Milwaukee before any payment of dues is necessary.
