Welcome Mothers of Multiples! The next meeting is Thursday, January 19th @ Hickory Park Independent Living Center, 3rd Floor, Greenfield, WI. The center is on Prairie Hill Lane, which is essentially 87th & Howard. Prairie Hill Lane is on the south side of Howard. Meet & Greet is at 6:30 p.m. followed by our regular meeting at 7 p.m. Starting @ 8p.m., we will be welcoming local fitness expert Julie Diodati to share her solutions/ideas that will help you reach your fitness goals. She will be bringing the dietician & personal trainer that helped her lose 100 pounds! The Milwaukee Mothers of Twins Club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1957 and serves mothers, or guardians, of twins, triplets or other multiple birth children. The club supports mothers from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and all the surrounding communities. We meet at the south side of Milwaukee on the 3rd Thursday of every month from Sept - June with special events in Dec, May and June. The purpose of our organization is to: 1. Assist members by exchanging ideas on the care and raising of twins with the assistance of professional advice and information. 2. Assist members by the exchange or sale of twin clothing and equipment. 3. Provide varied activities for the group. 4. Promote a philanthropic interest. We average 50+ members annually and are fortunate to have active members with twins ranging in age from 0 to 60 years. Our variety of members brings a wealth of education and friendship. The Milwaukee Mothers of Twins Club is a member of the "Wisconsin Mothers of Twins" and the "National Mothers of Twins" organizations. We are very active participants in the Wisconsin Mothers of Twins Club and we cherish the friendships we make through out the state. When choosing a twins club to join, be sure to consider the location, meeting dates, people and activities. There are many wonderful twins clubs and the more a mother participates in the club, the more she'll get out of it! Mothers can attend 2 meetings at Milwaukee before any payment of dues is necessary.
